I've been away for a long while and I apologize. I know I'm in a lot of RP groups and I haven't been active in a long while...
My cat hasn't been doing the best and I've been in contact with her vet. At first they thought she might just be over exerting herself as she is a 17 year old cat. I took her in for a blood work just in case and both her blood and her urine test showed she was amazingly healthy. Every vet that saw her chart were in awe. /shrug but there has to be something wrong... so her vet prescribed her some food. She loved it and took to it super well. However she seemed to be getting skinnier and skinnier and her breathing more and more shallow. It got to the point she had trouble taking air in and she was choking. I scheduled a visit and they took an x-ray. Her lungs were cloudy and one was enlarged. She had standing fluid and her gasping caused her to swallow air which was trapped and pushing against her lungs. They figured it might be asthma and began treatment for that. She did not take well to it and had another large breathing fit while I was on the phone with the tech. So Wednesday, November 8th, 2017, I had to put my cat to sleep. Since she did not take to the treatment it revealed it was in fact cancer. With her age, and how bad her lungs were, treatment for it would just prolong her suffering. I chose to not have her suffer. I've known her since before she was even conceived. Her mother was a stray being cared for by a friend of our family down the road and when the litter was born and they were old enough to be separated, Hazel became my cat and has been for more than half my life.
Please understand I wont be active again for a long while. The stress of her health and now her passing has drained me quite a bit. I can't say when I'll be active again and for how long. Thank you for your patience and everything. I will be back...
